WHAT WE MAKE

True Mettle is apparel for people who live by listening.

Not band merch. Not a costume. Clothing built for the people who are actually there  in the pit, at the barricade, in the back by the sound board, in the car afterward still buzzing.

Every piece is designed around the music that shaped us. Heavyweight blanks, because a shirt you wear to shows should survive them. Original artwork, always  we don't borrow from the bands we love. We make something that stands next to them.

WE'RE IN THE SCENE, NOT SELLING TO IT

We're at shows one to three times a month. Local rooms and big ones. Openers nobody's heard of and headliners everyone has.

That's not marketing. That's where the brand comes from. The designs, the drops, the playlist  all of it comes out of the same place you go on a Friday night.

Speaking of which: we add new music to our Spotify playlist every Friday. Bands we're actually listening to, including the openers you slept on. It's free, it's public, and it's the most honest thing on this website.
